I’m Chrissy also known as the “Coupon Queen”, the blessed wife of Cody and mommy to two precious little children.
I’m also a college graduate, a full time healthcare worker, a single mom half the year thanks to hubbys 7 days of work and 7 days off, sister to two, and daughter of the best parents ever. I owe so much to them–including appreciating what I have and ALWAYS reaching for the unreachable!!
When I became pregnant with baby #2 I entered the wonderful world of “couponing”
I quickly became hooked to saving on household items, diapers, and beauty items thru the CVS Extra Care Bucks program. After a year I began realizing that if I could save so much on everyday products I could probably do the same with groceries and every day essentials. Everyday I was asked “How do you do it?” I began sharing my savings thru myspace and began a blog.
The questions kept coming despite writing, a blog, and local leisure learning classes!
As time marched on and the questions and requests and emails continued to pour in, and the Coupon Queen Facebook page was born.
Who knows what the future holds, but I know that any success is thanks to the Lord, to my parents, to my wonderful husband, and to the loyal readers who constantly push and stretch me to be a better teacher thru humbleness and perserverance. I also have to give a special thanks to Sonya and Dawn for the extra help and money saving tips!!
When I’m not helping at work, being a mom/wife, bargain-shopping, or blogging, I enjoy trying new recipes and baking big batches of things for the freezer, engaging in thought-provoking discussions, trying to keep up with politics, or spending a quiet day at home with my family.
I like to keep it simple, I dont like clutter, but I LOVE a lifetime of memories of laughter and love!
Hello, I’m Sonya a young mother to five beautiful,smart girls.Yeah five GIRLS (it’s never a dull moment.) I grew up an only child so there times I wonder is all this noise in the house normal behavior.
I married the man of my dreams and love of my life! He is an incredible husband and father – I am blessed beyond measure. We are a retired military family (Go NAVY); which made room to allow me to become a full time stay at home mom.My husband is currently working on his second retirement and alll of our kids are in school; I occasionally substuite at my children school just to be near them.
I’m orginally from Lake Charles,LA and husband is from Atlanta,GA;we are currently awaiting for a transfer to move there.

A lil over two years ago I ask myself “Why should I just watch others save $$ when I can also!” From there my journey of coupons had begun.So I started visiting the companies websites and I would find a lot of offes and printable coupons on there site. I mean I would go to the extreme of googling a certain product and clicking to see what coupons are available. Sometime I even google $2.00 off printable coupons.Before we plan to go out to eat I google coupons for that place. You would be so surprise what come up its AMAZING!!For my family coupons are a way of life we choose to incorporate in ours.
My husband and I are proud to the point we can live our life without the fact of being out of debt and really just enjoy the fact of living like no one,so later we can live like no other-Dave Ramsey
I have always enjoyed searching for a good deal and finding a great sale! I am a true shopper at heart and it has become like a sport to me to try to save the most money at every store on every purchase. I am excited to have a place to share my love of coupons, deals, and saving money!
Hi, my name is Dawn. I’ve been couponing for a few years now and have integrated it into a part of my daily life. Not only do I love to coupon, but I love finding ways to live more frugal. I love cooking, cleaning and organizing. I sometimes have a month’s worth of freezer meals in my freezer to save time in the kitchen throughout the month. I have three beautiful children and an amazing husband of 13 years. I’m a stay at home mom and I seem to always be busy. I am incredibly blessed to stay home but it requires stretching my husband’s paycheck as far as it will go. I am so excited to have the opportunity to help others live frugally as well!!!
